Commitment to sustainability

The European Commission’s Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2139 includes in its Chapter 8 a specific classification within the Green Taxonomy, which addresses "Data processing, hosting, and related activities." This chapter outlines a series of key criteria to ensure these activities are sustainable. These include:
Activities related to data processing and hosting must ensure that they do not compromise the ability to adapt to climate change. This includes:
- Maintain resilience to physical climate risks in the following areas:
- People
- Nature
- Cultural heritage
- Assets and other economic activities
It is essential to prioritize sustainable approaches that utilize natural resources. Among the most notable measures:
- Giving priority to the use of green infrastructure whenever possible, ensuring an environmentally respectful approach aligned with nature-based solutions.
Solutions must align with previously established strategies to ensure their effectiveness. This involves:
- Ensuring proposals are consistent with local, sectoral, regional, or national adaptation strategies, fostering effective integration into current plans.
Continuous monitoring is key to evaluating the impact and compliance with sustainability measures. This includes:
- Implement a monitoring system based on previously defined indicators.
- Establishing corrective measures in case of deviations or failure to meet the goals set by the indicators.
Regarding the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards), based on double materiality—impact on the environment and society, and financial impact on economic performance, we work to stay aligned with the goals set by the institutions. This is an objective that goes beyond regulatory compliance and is integrated into our commitment to value creation.

The Pact establishes a series of principles that will serve as the foundation for transforming the cybersecurity sector toward a more sustainable approach, and AIndeep, as a committed entity, pledges to work based on these principles:
